BOYS: DRESS PANTS, WESTERN SHIRT, ROPE TIE (Optional - COWBOY BOOTS / HAT)

GIRLS: COTTON/SUEDE SKIRT/DRESS (WESTERN TOP) (Optional - COWBOY BOOTS / HAT)

Wear a different culture or nationality apparel

BOYS: A COAT AND TIE ARE NOT NEEDED FOR THIS EVENT ONLY - DRESS PANTS OR DOCKER TYPE AND DRESS SHOES ARE REQUIRED (NO TENNIS SHOES)

GIRLS: APPROPRIATE LENGTH SKIRTS - NO PANTS, FLIP FLOPS OR LEGGINGS

Dress code?

Young ladies are expected to wear a dress in modest attire and length. Spaghetti straps (thin) must be covered by a sweater or bolero. Spaghetti straps (thick, over 2 inches) acceptable without a covering. Leggings under dresses are NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Do the young ladies wear stockings?

This is difficult because many of the shoes are now a dress sandal open toe. With this type it is awkward to wear a nylon however, it is in good taste and a part of the dressy appearance to wear a foot covering such as tights, nylons etc.

Do the young ladies wear white gloves?

This is always up to the young lady, the Cotillion does not require white gloves.

What about dress shoes for the young ladies?

Please, please, have the sole of the shoe as low as possible and always must have a backstrap.

Boys dress code?

Yes, boys must wear a coat and necktie with shoes suitable for dancing. This is NOT tennis shoes that are dark.

Do I have to keep my jacket on all night?

Yes, part of a young gentlemen's good grooming is staying dressed. The jacket remains on with the necktie up towards the collar and the shirt tale is always tucked in.
