7th- 10th Grade Students / Girls and Boys

7:30pm to 8:30pm / Class Fee $295.00

**The Essential Life Skills for Success program is a NEW and unique concept that has been written by the Gollatz Team for the more mature student. The young adults will learn and practice life skills in a professional setting. (The Life Skill program is not a continuation of the "Cotillion" program or " Supper Club". 

 (Note the Dress Code at the bottom of the page)

 ~ Social Instruction: How to introduce yourself to others and begin a conversation and then continue the conversation with small talk; direct eye-contact with others and its importance; proper name tag placement; writing a complete thank you note and addressing the envelope to mail; and responding to an invitation. The evening will include Cotillion style dancing. *Please note Senior Club dress code.  

 

 ~ Social Instruction: How to sew on a button; proper table setting and utensil placement; how to correctly use a fork and knife and writing a resume.  The evening will include Cotillion style dancing.*Please note Senior Club dress code.

 

 ~ Social Instruction: Tipping; chopsticks usage; and surcharges on purchases. A complete dinner will be served to each Club students only. The evening will also include Cotillion style dancing.*Please note Senior Club dress code.

 

 ~ Social Instruction: The self - defense class will be instructed by Officer Blue and Sergeant James. Each instructor has over twenty years’ experience on the police force. The class will make your child more observant of their surroundings as they learn escape techniques and "command presence". (If your child would not like to actively participate in this class they may observe).
 

*Note dress code: for this event ONLY we ask that the students do NOT wear their Cotillion attire but dress casually.

Boys ~ do not wear your necktie or blazer.

Girls ~ MUST be in a casual type of pants; no shorts, sandals or revealing tops.

Parents are encouraged by the Instructors to be involved in their child's social media choices. 

 

**In today's ever changing society and technology,  several of our communities go beyond any Cotillion program and offer your child important basic self-defense and escape techniques. Our class will make your child more observant of their surroundings as they learn "command presence". Parents are encouraged by the Instructors to be involved in their child's social media choices. The event will be led by guest Instructors that are highly qualified. 

 

 - Family Night (Optional for Senior Club Students) ~ The Senior Club student may attend the Cotillion with their family from 6:15pm to 7:30pm. Family Night is intended to include the entire family for Cotillion dancing and festivities.  

 

Dress Code for the Senior Club with Life Skills Series (only):

Girls: A simple, modest dress and low heels. .

Boys: Dress shirt, necktie and nice pants, a blazer is optional.

Exception: The self-defense evening- please wear lose comfortable clothes and the   students may wear tennis shoes. Do not have your child dress in formal attire.
