Class Begins: 5: 30pm to 6:15pm / Gather Time 5:15pm

 

     Your child has been invited by private invitation to attend the Young and Polite Manners Class by the Gollatz Cotillion and hosted at the AmeriMont Academy Private Elementary School in Anaheim. The Young and Polite Manners Class will not be found elsewhere for this age group and is limited in size for personal attention.

 

     Each meeting will expose a young child to a variety of simple dining skills, please and thank you, behavioral skills such as the basic table setting, napkin placement, giving the toast, cutting using a fork and knife, buttering a dinner roll, conversation and introductions. On March 11, 2020 you and your child are invited (as an additional event, please refer to the class package list below) to attend the Young and Polite Manners Class  - Dinner Gala at the Yorba Linda Country Club.

 

     Mr. and Mrs. Klapp of the Gollatz Cotillion will host and instruct the intimate group of young student’s transitional kindergarten through first grade boys and girls. Your child will be instructed in a safe environment. Due to space availability parents are invited to remain on campus in the waiting room.

Wednesday, October 16, 2019 – The hand shake, eye contact, introducing ourselves, the beginning place setting.

 

Wednesday, November 13, 2019 – How to hold a fork and knife, buttering a dinner roll, the soup course, seating, being seated and remaining seated.

 

Wednesday, January 15, 2020 – Items that drop on the floor, brushing our teeth, take one and pass to the right, how to pass the salt and pepper.

 

Wednesday, February 5, 2020 - Thank you gifts, the stop sign, looking both ways, safety.

 

Wednesday, March 11, 2020 – (Gala Optional) The Dinner Gala at the Yorba Linda Country Club ~ 6:00pm to 7:15pm

CLASS PACKAGES

#1.  The Art of Having Good Manners – Class only for child to attend at the AmeriMont School ( includes first four events) $120.00.

#2.  Manner & Gala – One Parent / One Child – Includes the first four events and the Gala Dinner at the Yorba Linda Country Club for one student and one parent. $184.00

 

#3.  Manners & Gala – Two Parents / One Child - Includes the first four events and the Gala Dinner at the Yorba Linda Country Club for one student and two parents. $224.00

To Register for the Young & Polite Manners Class -  RSVP through the AmeriMont registration at www.gollatz.com (under AmeriMont Academy).

 

  • The Gala is a catered event hosted at the Yorba Linda Country Club. No refunds will be given to children or parents after the date of September 30, 2019.   

  • There will be a limited number of children accepted. The Gollatz Cotillion is not responsible for your child’s attendance.

  • The girls are required to wear a simply party dress or dress uniform. The boys are required to wear a dress shirt, neck tie and nice trousers. A blazer or suit is not required or necessary.
