Welcome to the Gollatz Cotillion
The Gollatz Team of Instructor’s is pleased to invite your child to the Gollatz Cotillion, a program designed to enhance your child’s social skills and build confidence through guided social interactions. At the Gollatz Cotillion we believe that confidence, courtesy, and strong social skills are essential for every child's success. Our experienced team of instructors is dedicated to helping children develop these lifelong skills in a fun, supportive environment.
About the Program
The Gollatz Cotillion is designed for boys and girls in grades 5th, 6th and 7th. Our programs combine modern etiquette with engaging activities to help make students feel comfortable and confident. Through real-life scenarios and fun Cotillion style dancing, students will gain invaluable skills, all while having fun and a great time!
Through Interactive Lesson, the Students Will:
· Practice good manners and respectful behavior
· Understand the table setting and correctly use each utensil
· Develop conversation skills
· Learn the art of first impressions and a meaningful hand shake
· Learn the basics of Cotillion - style dancing
· Social interactions
· For the older students - Digital Social Usage and Etiquette Awareness
· Dinner is served at each of the Cotillion events to the registered students

Sunday, September 13, 2026 ~ Welcome to The Gollatz Cotillion ~ The Gollatz Cotillion program is designed to help your child become proficient in making a great first impression; using direct eye contact; introductions; giving and receiving compliments; perfecting the handshake and dining skills while learning and enjoying Cotillion-style dancing. We kindly remind you to adhere to the Cotillion dress code (refer to the "dress code" tab for details). All registered students will be served a complete dinner.
Sunday, October 4, 2026 ~ The Table Setting ~ We are looking forward to this evening’s Cotillion which will concentrate on the proper silverware usage. Students will be instructed on how to effectively use a fork and knife, including techniques for cutting “individual” bites. All grades will participate in the fun “Let’s Set the Table” game to help them develop essential dining skills. As a reminder, please adhere to the Cotillion dress code.
Sunday, November 8, 2026 ~ Pasta will be Served ~ The students will enjoy a pasta style dinner that requires the use of a fork and knife, using the cutting techniques learned in the previous Cotillion lesson and taking small bites while chewing with our mouths closed. As always, the dinner is for the registered Cotillion students. Additionally, the students will be taught the classic skill of tying a necktie. Do not let your child miss out on this unique learning experience!
Sunday, November 29, 2026 ~ Dinner and Practicing ~ Our Cotillion finale will bring together all of the skills the students have learned and enjoyed complete with Cotillion - style - dancing. The social instruction will focus on "Digital Social Usage and Etiquette Awareness" in today's social exposure.
**If your child has any dietary restrictions, please notify the Gollatz office at least 72 hours prior to the Cotillion Class.

**Cotillion is a fantastic way for friends to learn social skills, dance, and etiquette together in a fun, supportive environment.

**** A cash beverage bar will be located near the event. Siblings MUST remain with a parent. No children are allowed to run around the club or the golf greens before or after our events.
We take great pride in our distinguished alumni, including two United States Presidential families who have been personally instructed by the Gollatz Cotillion. Our fun and engaging social skills series is designed to teach children the importance of manners, courtesy, and communication. Our experienced instructors work closely with each student to build confidence and develop strong social skills that will last a lifetime. The Gollatz Cotillion is available by special request.
**The Gollatz Cotillion can accommodate most dietary restrictions however, some dietary restrictions are life threatening. It is asked of the families with children who have severe food restrictions that you provide their personal food items as this guarantees the safety and well - being of your child. Please contact the Cotillion office to discuss food/meal accommodations. **
