A Special One Night Only Event

The Young and Polite Dining Event

Tustin Ranch Golf Club, 12442 Tustin Ranch Road, Tustin

 

      Monday, April 27, 2026

4:30pm to 5:45pm ~  fee $125.00 

A Five Course Dinner is Included

                 

      Grades / Ages: 5+ years old through 3rd grade / Boys and Girls

    

    The Young and Polite dining class is a fun and informative "hands - on" dining class for  children ages five+ years old to 3rd grade, boys and girls. The Young and Polite dining class encourages basic dining skills, and table manners for young children in a fun setting.
 

   The Young and Polite dining class will expose a young child to a variety of simple yet important dining habits like reminding them to chew with their mouths closed, cutting small bites, finishing the bite before talking, what are considered finger foods and what are not, basic cutting and, dining manners. Each student will be served a multi-course dinner with instruction. Standard of behavior is expected. 

 

Designed for students in grades / age 5years+  through 3rd grade.

All participants will be separated by table and grade.

It is imperative that arrival is prompt as the event begins at 4:30pm.​

**The Five Course Served Dinner Includes: Fruit display (appetizer), soup, salad, main entree & with starch and vegetables, rolls & butter, desert with instruction on each course.

   The dress code for the evening is considered country club attire, no blue jeans. The girls may wear a simple dress or pant outfit and the boys may wear nice pants (trousers), a sport shirt and necktie. A blazer for this evening is NOT required. A child does not need to be a member of any of the Gollatz Cotillion programs to join us at the Young and Polite class.​

   Parents are requested to attend and observe or be in proximity during the class do the age of the children. 

​

A standard of behavior that promotes respect and courtesy to all at the table is expected,  setting the foundation for a lifetime of good manners.

​

  • Please inform the Gollatz business office regarding any food allergies your child may have, if they are vegetarian or vegan, have dietary restrictions or religious beliefs. This is for the protection of your child and to provide an appropriate meal. 

  • The Young and Polite event and dinner is for registered students of the class only  â€‹â€‹

  • To offer the Young and Polite class there is a minimum guarantee of 30 students, if the minimum is not reached unfortunately the class will be canceled. If the class is canceled you will be notified by April 20, 2026

                             

A parent will be pleasantly surprised what their child learns during this presentation.

Many parents say they have learned new skills by watching!
