 Manners in Minutes is a unique, fast-paced manners enrichment and social skills program   tailored  specifically for the after-school program at La Canada Elementary School.

• Professional Instruction: Taught exclusively by the trained professionals of the Gollatz Cotillion Team with 40+ years of experience.

• Fast-Paced Curriculum: Built to keep young learners engaged through active participation.

• Practical Skills: Focuses on core courtesy, social confidence, and everyday manners.

 

Core Curriculum Topics

• Greetings & Handshakes: Mastering eye contact, confidence, and polite introductions.

• Friendship & Conversation: Learning active listening and how to build positive peer relationships.

• Gratitude: Practicing the essential art of writing thoughtful thank-you notes.

• Sportsmanship: Developing healthy social skills around sharing, winning, and losing gracefully.

• Table Etiquette: Understanding basic table settings and polite dining manners.

• Chewing Correctly: Reminder of keeping lips closed completely while chewing to ensure silent dining.

• Bite-Sized Portions: Cutting food into small, manageable pieces to avoid overfilling the mouth.

• Posture & Elbows: Keeping elbows off the table entirely while food is served and eaten.

• Practical Skills: Focuses on core courtesy, social confidence, and everyday manners.

 

Program Incentives & Practice

• Prizes: Using fun rewards to reinforce positive behavior and active participation.

• Practice Snacks: Applying table manners in real-time with hands-on food exercises.

 

Manners in Minutes program is 4 unique classes 55 minutes in length.

    Manners in Minutes is a division of Gollatz Cotillion, inc. The Gollatz Team has won several distinct honors just this year including being nominated for the Disney I-Parenting Award, NAEYC- National Association Education of Young Children and has an award winning children's book writen by Mr. & Mrs. Klapp called Minding Your Manners With Chippie.
